# Water for Villages
Raising a family in an impoverished mountain village is challenging enough but imagine trying to maintain a household without reliable access to water. Since 2015 we have been making it possible for people to build new water systems in those villages that have suffer from lack of water since Hurricane Stan devastated the region in 2005. To date we have helped 11 remote communities, benefiting over 8,000 people. Learn more about this on-going work (opens new window) in collaboration with Water Charity
